Escape.

Every morning, the world awakes, Yet in my bed, I lie, still in its tight embrace.

I fight with myself for what feels like hours before

Routine binds my weary limbs,

As each day blends into the same one.

The mirror reflects a vacant stare,

Eyes that once sparkled, now dulled with defeat.

Smiles plastered, but hollow within,

Masking the turmoil, the chaos within.

In the mundane motions, I find no solace,
Each task a burden, each moment a promise.

Silent screams echo in the mundane,

As shadows linger, whispering my name.

They call and call and yet I ignore.

The weight of existence, an unbearable load,

As hope dwindles and more darkness corrodes.

Subtle hints, whispers of escape,

A silent plea, a desperate shape.

Yet, the facade remains, meticulously crafted,

Concealing the cracks, the wounds left unattended.

In the labyrinth of my mind, I roam,

Seeking refuge in the quiet unknown.

But as the days blur into endless night,

The whispers grow louder, a haunting plight.

In the stillness of dusk, a solemn vow,

To find peace in the final bow.

So I tread the path, shrouded in mist,

A journey towards the abyss, the final twist.

In the silence of goodbye, a bittersweet relief,

As I surrender to the void, to find my peace.
